There are many transportation options available for you to attend the Ottawa Christmas Market. During event days at Lansdowne, TD Place Parking is very limited. We highly encourage our guests to take advantage of the alternative transportation options offered to you. We hope you enjoy your upcoming visit!
The Ottawa Christmas Market has created accessible transportation options, to reduce traffic congestion, promote sustainable transportation modes, and get you to the event on time and stress-free!

OSEG Shuttle
New for the 2024 Ottawa Christmas Market season, we will be offering a FREE shuttle service from Carleton University.
Pick Up & Drop Off Locations:
• Carleton U Parking, east side of the P18 lot . See details below.
• Ottawa Christmas Market, by Gate 3 area (TD Place).
Guests can park at Carleton U in the P5, P7, or P18 lot and use the free shuttle, which picks up and drops off on the east side of the P18 lot.
Note that guests are responsible for parking fees. Payments can be made at Pay stations, through the Hotspot mobile app ( https://www.htsp.ca/) or by scanning the parking lot QR code.
Alternative Parking
TD Place parking is very limited. Please find a few alternative parking and transportation options below to help accommodate your visit.
Nearby Parking Lots:
Park and walk under 20 minutes
• 170 Second Avenue Park on Levels 1 & 2 for short term parking to a max of 2 hours. Park on Levels 3 & 4 for longer than 2 hours parking (applicable rates apply) – 8 Minute walk or take the #6 or #7 bus.

Killeany Place** –
Impark 150 Isabella – 17-minute walk or take the #6 or #7 bus.
** The weekend day rate (until 6 pm) is $3.00. / Weekend evening rate (after 6 PM) is $3.00. (Pay both rates on arrival)
** Use the App, HangTag –
https://hangtag.io/, and pay the day rate when you arrive. You will receive a notification on your phone indicating when your parking is about to expire. You can then opt to add the extra $3.00 evening rate through your phone instead of returning to the parking lot.
• 574 Bank Street (fees vary) – 15-minute walk or take the #6 or #7 bus.
Park and walk under 30 minutes
• 355 Cooper – 30-minute walk or take the #6 or #7 bus.
• Indigo parking 180 Argyle Road – 27-minute walk or take the #6 or #7.
• Saint – Thomas-D’Aquin – 1255 Kilborn – up to 28-minute walk.
• Saint Paul University – 223 Main Street – Great 26-minute walk across the Flora Bridge.
• Impark 1355 Bank Street – up to 21-minute walk or take the #6.
Park and walk under 40 minutes
• 101 Queen – 38-minute walk or take the #6 or #7 bus.
• 400 Slater – 38-minute walk or take the #6 or #7 bus.
Walk
TD Place and Lansdowne are pedestrian-friendly areas! Guests are encouraged to walk to TD Place using the scenic multi-use pathways along the Rideau Canal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The multi-use pathways and pedestrian areas leading to TD Place make walking an attractive way to get to TD Place. For more information on walking routes to TD Place, please visit the City of Ottawa Website.
Bike
TD Place is easily accessible by cycling. There are 285 bike rings available for use around Lansdowne Park.

Accessibility
In collaboration with OC Transpo, we are pleased to provide accessible transit service on all routes to TD Place. Pick up and drop off near Gate 1, a designated Accessible Support Entrance location.
Accessible Parking: A limited number of on-site accessible parking spaces are available within the parking garage for guests with a valid Accessible Parking Permit (APP) on a first-come-first-served basis. Please note, pre-purchased parking is not available for the Ottawa Christmas Market.

Important Notes To Access The Ottawa Christmas Market
IMPORTANT:
• Starting Friday, November 22 at 9:30 a.m. until Monday, December 2 at 7 am, the OC Transpo Transitway at the intersection of Bank Street and Billings Bridge Station, will have turning lane restrictions. During this time, the bus service will be detoured along Riverside Drive and Data Centre Road to access the Billings Bridge Station. LEARN MORE ›
• In 2024, Bank Street will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Riverside Drive westbound and Bélanger Avenue/Lamira Street, starting in June. LEARN MORE ›
• Until December 2024, a road closure in the southbound direction of Greenfield Avenue and Main Street is required to facilitate ongoing construction. Greenfield Ave. southbound will be closed from Highway 417 on-ramp to Main Street. Main Street southbound will be closed from Greenfield Avenue to Hawthorne Avenue. LEARN MORE ›
• Two main ramps downtown remain closed. Please avoid 417EB to Bronson for ingress and 417WB to Lyon for egress.
